Western Pre-Cadet School is organizing a professional development training programme for teachers on September 25, 2026, with a focus on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance modern, technology-driven classroom management and teaching practices. The programme will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the school campus. As part of the programme, a 60-minute session titled “AI Adaptation for Teachers” will be conducted from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm by Mr. Sawad Parvez. The session will focus on practical ways teachers can adapt and use AI tools to improve lesson planning, teaching effectiveness, classroom activities, learning resources, assessment, and student engagement.

Western Pre-Cadet School is organizing a professional development training programme for teachers at the school campus on September 25, 2026. As part of the programme, a 60-minute session titled “Learning Through Play” will be conducted from 10:30 am to 11:30 am by Ms. Tahmina Begum, Principal of Western Pre-Cadet School. The session will focus on the importance of play-based learning and how teachers can incorporate engaging, creative, and age-appropriate play activities into classroom teaching to make learning more enjoyable and effective for children.

Western Pre-Cadet School organized its weekly cultural programme on August 13, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. The special programme was arranged to commemorate 22nd Srabon, the death anniversary of the great poet and Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The programme provided students with an opportunity to remember Tagore’s remarkable contribution to Bengali literature, music, culture and education through various cultural activities.

The 3rd Day of the Training of Teachers (ToT) programme was successfully held on August 8, 2026. The second session, held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, focused on “Educational Leadership and Communication Strategy”. The session was conducted by Touhidul Islam Khan Shoikot, Joint Director (JD), Bangladesh Bank and CEO, TIKS Education. The session focused on developing effective educational leadership, strengthening communication skills, and promoting strategic communication practices among teachers for creating a more effective and collaborative learning environment.

The 3rd Day of the Training of Teachers (ToT) programme was held on August 8, 2026. The first session, held from 10:00 am to 10:45 am, focused on “Learning Through Play – Part 2”. The session was conducted by Ms. Tahmima Akhter, Principal of Western Pre-Cadet School. The session highlighted the importance of play-based learning in children’s education and explored practical approaches to making classroom learning more engaging, enjoyable, and effective.

As part of the 2nd Day of the Training of Teachers (ToT) programme at Western Pre-Cadet School, a session titled “Passive Learning through Storytelling” was held on August 1, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm. The session was conducted by Mr. Nazmul Huda, writer, organizer, and Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank. The session highlighted the potential of storytelling as an engaging approach to learning and encouraged teachers to use stories creatively to make classroom learning more meaningful and enjoyable for children.

Our school will be hosting the Annual Sports Day on 29 January, 2026. All students are encouraged to participate and enjoy the exciting events.

The Class Party and Guardian Gatherings were successfully organized at Western Pre-Cadet School on 10 November 2025. Media personnel, cultural activists, parents, guardians, and students attended the event. The program featured cake cutting, balloons, festoons, beautiful decorations, singing, recitation, and enjoyable games including a dart board. The entire event was filled with joy and happiness. Parents and guardians expressed their views and shared that they are very happy with Western and feel proud to be a part of the Western family.

Our school will be hosting the Class Party and Guardian Gatherings on November 30, 2025. All students and guardians are encouraged to participate and enjoy the event.

Winter vacation will begin from December 20, 2025 to January 5, 2025. School will resume on January 6, 2026.
